ABOUT CAPE TOWN
Cape
Town, famously known as ‘The
Mother City',
is cradled by the world famous
Table Mountain and is reputed
to be one of the most beautiful
cities in the world.
The city of Cape Town offers
many tourist attractions
steeped in history. The harbour
and waterfront are famous
for attracting international
trade and tourists. The V&A
Waterfront, with its fascinating
old buildings, entertainment,
shopping centres and restaurants, is a must for any visitor to Cape Town.
A cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain provides a spectacular and breathtaking
view of the city and harbour. Another tourist highlight is a tour to Robben
Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for almost two decades.
Visit beautiful beaches such as Clifton, Camps Bay and Muizenberg with boat
trips available to Seal Island. A visit to Cape Town would also not be complete
without a Wine Tour to one of the many wine estates featuring Cape Dutch architecture
set among manicured vineyards and of course a sampling of the wines themselves.
